Karl spent much of his early life in the rich mountains and valleys of Austria. Surrounded by the natural wonders of his homeland, the particular focus of his life was set at a young age: to discover the life-sustaining properties of plants and herbs.
One day, while the young Karl was conquering the mountains, climbing from peak to peak - he experienced an unexplained loss of energy. Clinging to a rugged ledge, he faltered and fought for every breath. Unable to lift himself to safety, Karl waited for assistance at the peril of the mountains he loved.
Knowing he must improve his physical condition, Karl vowed never to find himself powerless against the demands of the mountains. And so, he was driven to establish a state of optimum physical condition with the help of natural botanical elements.
Karl was certain that nature had anticipated man's needs. He actively studied the subjects and disciplines that would eventually allow him to tap into the secrets of the natural world.
Through diligent research and testing, Karl developed a unique formula that improved general well-being. As news of his discovery spread, Karl provided his "Preparation" to friends, family and colleagues, with no thought of commercial gain. The formula - known as Matol Km - was to permanently alter his life, an the lives of all who experienced his discovery.
Network marketing was a new adventure for us. We saw the video of the Matol leaders at the first Home Office Visit, and we promised ourselves that we would qualify if there was another opportunity. There was, and we qualified.
Our hearts desire was to meet Karl in person. We were enjoying the wonderful first night buffet. I got up to get some dessert, and as I passed by the elevators, the door opened and there was Karl on the arm of Dottie Boreyko. I quickly took the opportunity to shake his hand and look into his face to see that shine in his eyes. His skin was so soft, and he looked so young. I was amazed and thought, "If I take Matol Km as long as Karl, will my skin look that beautiful?"
Karl asked if there were any places to sit down; he had a little discomfort in his knee. I said, "You can sit at our table," and escorted him into the dining area, to our table which was nearby. I then went back to get him his favorite drink and some food.
My husband, Kert, and our friends, Bill Harvey and Betty Clampitt were also at the table. Kert thanked Karl for the gift of Matol Km, and shared how it had been "a miracle in a bottle" for him; it had literally changed his life for the better.
As we sat there, at the table with Karl, people began coming up to him to share their stories. Many were next to miraculous; all were very different. Karl had a difficult time eating because of the crowd of people wanting to talk to him. With each story, Karl seemed so grateful and so humble. Tears came to his eyes, and he said, "I’m so glad God has allowed me this opportunity to share in these stories." We were more convinced than ever that we were marketing an amazing product.
The hospitality of the home office staff was outstanding. The tour through
the laboratory, the manufacturing plant, and the home office proved to
us that Matol is a first class operation.
